Today I have a softball game. It's at Ladywood, which is our home field for now because our dugouts are getting re done. We have a double header against Wayne Memorial. We have already played three games and we won all of them so I hope we keep this winning streak going, although I would really appreciate if it was rained out. I do not feel like playing right now and it’s cold and rainy out. I play center field too which basically means that I just stand there because no balls ever get hit out there. I have been working on pitching though and coach told me that he might need to a little tonight. I am not too fond of this though because he didn’t keep me yesterday after practice so I could work on my pitching. I went home after practice and worked on pitching to my dad in case I do need to pitch at all tonight and I sucked. I was doing so badly so if the coach puts me in today in the games I will probably do horrible then I will be very mad. I brought two long sleeve shirts to wear under my jersey because it is so cold out. Last game is was really nice out and I was still freezing with just one long sleeve shirt on. Last game was really boring though because nothing got hit out to center field but I sort of enjoyed it because their track was right behind our field and they were blasting music so I got listen to the music and they were playing good songs too. It’s 1:54 right now and I’m praying someone comes on the speaker things and tells us our games are canceled although that’s probably not going to happen.

swimming in gym is so stupid !

We’re swimming right now in gym. I think it’s ridiculous. It's inconsiderate. It’s torture. And we’re swimming for three whole weeks. I can’t believe it! I think that is really stupid for many, many reasons. One reason being that there’s no point in having to swim in gym class at school. Basically everyone knows how to swim and if someone doesn’t then maybe they just don’t want to or don’t care. Another reason I don’t like it at all is because it is so cold. I have gym third hour and I’m still usually a little chilly at 10:00 in the morning. We get to the locker room and right away have to get in our bathing suits and rinse off in the showers. Everyone is shivering and freezing cold. Then we go out into the pool area and have to sit in the bleachers for a few minutes and freeze some more. When we finally get in the pool we start our laps. The point of doing laps? I have no clue. And while one person at a time goes, the other people in the group have to just stand there and freeze. The biggest thing that is so cruel about having gym 3rd hour is that there’s no point in trying to look cute for the three weeks of swimming at school because in third hour our hair and makeup just gets all messed up anyways. The guys have it easy because they don’t have to worry about either of those two things. One last thing that bugs me about the whole swimming thing is the hassle in the locker room. With changing in to our bathing suits, then getting right out of them again twenty minutes later. Also, having to keep our towels and suits in the lockers when they don’t dry at all and then start to smell. EW!!! I don’t think that swimming should be something the schools are made to do at the schools because it’s so troubling for most of the students and there is absolutely no point to it. I think it’s so stupid.

March 6, 2009
Yesterday we had no school and today we have a half day. Next week we have no school Tuesday, and half days Wednesday and Thursday. I love weeks like these because I don’t like school. Half days are cool even though there is no point to them. We don’t do anything in any class because we don’t have time. At the same time, we get to see our friends and then you can go places with them after school. Today in gym we got to shoot around and we didn’t have to change. I wish every day was like this because I don’t like having to change and playing basketball is fun. Today I have on a lime green shirt. It says I play like a girl don’t be jealous. But the only reason I wore it was because of the color. This morning I set my alarm for 5:00 because I needed to get up and finish a paper that I thought was due today. I ended up getting up at 6:15 and I had to rush to get ready and I didn’t get to do anything with the paper.

My name's Jorden. I'm fifteen years old, although I can't wait until I turn sixteen which is this November. I have one sibling, a brother, Josh. He's sixteen and he’s in tenth grade. I have a dog named Gretta. She's a German Sheppard. We got her a while after we had to get my dog Bailey put to sleep. When we got her she was about three months old. My favorite sport is basketball. I play for a few different teams. I also like to watch basketball on TV whether it’s men’s or women’s or college or pro. I like to watch the Pistons although not so much anymore because I think they’ve made some bad trades in the past few years but my favorite player is Tayshaun Prince. My favorite non-Pistons player is Daniel Gibson who plays for the Cavaliers. I also play volleyball, softball, and once in a while I golf. My favorite foods are grilled cheeses, pineapple, and green peppers, and my favorite place to eat at is taco bell (: I love to hang out with my friends. They make me laugh nonstop. I have lots of friends from school and even outside of school but I would have to say that my best friend is my cousin Mary. She knows every single thing that has ever happened in my life. I tell her everything. She gives me advice and I can talk to her if I’m sad and I need someone to talk to or if I just want to call her up and talk. The funny thing about us being so close is that we are total opposites. She’s short and has blonde hair and I’m tall and have brown hair. She goes to Franklin of course, and I go to Stevenson. She does cheer, and I play sports like basketball. Our plan is that when we turn sixteen we’re buying a little Barbie car then we’re moving to California. We’re going to get an apartment and were going to go to college there and get jobs. Well that's our plan even though it's probably not going to happen.
